Site AuditDiagnose

An SEO audit that files every finding against a page

Two passes over the same site. A crawl files findings against the page they were found on and keeps them open until a later crawl proves them repaired. A single-URL audit scores one page against 30-plus checks and pulls its Core Web Vitals from Google PageSpeed.

One pass down a finished crawl of gpu.fm: 84 pages, zero errors, 162 open issues across 83 of them, and a thin-content finding opened to show a page's 72 words against the 300 expected.

What it does

34 findings, five severities, filed per page

Titles and descriptions that are missing, duplicated or out of length. Missing or multiple H1s. Thin content, orphan pages, redirect chains and loops, broken internal links, nofollowed internal links, canonical mismatches, noindex pages, http links on an https page, missing viewport, lang, HSTS, invalid schema, images with no alt text or no dimensions. Each carries the value found and the value expected, so the finding is a line to edit.

Core Web Vitals on the page you name

A single-URL audit fetches the page, runs the on-page checks and queries Google PageSpeed for LCP, CLS and INP, each scored against its own threshold. It takes 15 to 40 seconds with the elapsed time on screen, and every run is kept with its score so you can compare a page to itself later. When PageSpeed refuses the request the score says it was computed without performance data.

An inspector that points at the element

The page is re-rendered in headless Chrome next to its findings, at desktop, tablet or phone width. Selecting a finding highlights the element that caused it and opens a fix panel with the corrected snippet: alt text written for that image, width and height for that tag, a rewritten title. You copy the fix; nothing is pushed to your site behind your back.

A re-crawl closes what was repaired, and only that

Findings carry a status, and the next crawl closes the ones that are gone from the pages it re-read. Checks it could not run stay open with their original age: when a page returns as an empty shell, content depth, headings and internal links are withheld rather than counted clean. An earlier version read that silence as success and told one owner 65 issues were fixed on a site where nothing had changed.

How it works

  1. 1

    Point it at a URL

Enter the address. Quietly checks it answers, then queues the crawl. Discovery walks the sitemap and the link graph up to 500 URLs, and each pass crawls up to 100 pages in batches of 25 so a slow host shortens the batch and the run continues.

  2. 2

Read the findings where they live

Site-wide by page and severity, or one page at a time in the inspector. The single-URL audit shows its own score with the weighted contribution of every component, so a 68 arrives with the arithmetic behind it. Download the audit as an HTML report when it has to leave the app.

  3. 3

Send the fixes where they get done

A single-URL audit's findings go to Fabric as rows carrying page, issue type, current value and impact. The audit-fixes template proposes a replacement value for each one in your brand voice, and you keep or discard them row by row.
